Where Tradition Lives and Breathes

A sacred Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva on the outskirts of Melbourne, Victoria, nurturing a vibrant community rooted in the warmth, wisdom, and timeless practice of Sanatan Dharma through satsangs, festivals, children’s heritage classes, and devotional gatherings.

Sanatan Dharma

The Eternal Way of Living

Sanatan Dharma is a timeless tradition rooted in truth, compassion, and righteous living. It is not a religion bound by a single book or moment in history — it is a deeper way of being that guides how we think, act, and grow.

Through devotion, practice, music, philosophy, and community service, Sanatan Dharma offers a path of clarity and inner steadiness in modern life.

Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam — the world is one family.

Our Mission

Kailash Cultural & Spiritual Foundation is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva on the outskirts of Melbourne, Victoria. We nurture and celebrate the living heritage of Sanatan Dharma by offering a welcoming space for devotion, learning, and community through satsangs, children’s heritage education, yoga, bhajans, and the celebration of Hindu festivals.

Tradition is not preserved in glass — it is lived and breathed.

Our Pillars

Culture

We preserve and share the living heritage of Sanatan Dharma through storytelling, arts, rituals, language, and festival traditions — keeping cultural roots alive in every home and every generation.

Practice

We cultivate devotion and inner steadiness through yoga, meditation, mantra chanting, pujas, and satsangs — grounding modern life in clarity, compassion, and sacred discipline.

Wisdom

We explore timeless teachings from the Upanishads, Bhagavad Gita, and Vedanta through study circles and guided reflections — making ancient wisdom practical, relevant, and accessible today.
